POSTKODES Launches Nigeria–Côte d’Ivoire Consolidated Cargo Corridor, Expands Intra-Africa Trade Network

Lagos, Nigeria – 19 June 2025 — POSTKODES has officially launched a consolidated sea and air cargo trade lane between Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire, deepening its commitment to unlocking the potential of intra-Africa trade. This follows the successful rollout of the Nigeria–Senegal corridor, reinforcing the company’s West African network.

With both the Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire lanes now operational, POSTKODES is setting a new benchmark for modern, tech-driven freight solutions in the region. The trade lanes support the movement of consolidated cargo via air and ocean freight, connecting commercial hubs in Lagos, Abidjan, and Dakar through a unified, digitally-enabled supply chain.

“Our goal is to eliminate traditional trade bottlenecks and empower African businesses to trade seamlessly across borders,” said Josiah Edmond, Founder and Managing Director of POSTKODES. “With Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire now active, we’re proving what’s possible when logistics is reimagined for Africa.”

Key Features of the West Africa Trade Network:

  • Consolidated weekly departures from Nigeria to Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal.
  • Digital freight booking, real-time tracking, and inventory management.
  • Customs facilitation, bonded warehousing, and fast-tracked clearance protocols.
  • Supported by POSTKODES’ intelligent logistics platform for seamless end-to-end freight execution.

Supporting the AfCFTA Vision

The expansion aligns with the goals of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to reduce trade barriers, lower logistics costs, and boost regional value chains across the continent.

“Africa’s trade potential is immense, but logistics has often been the weak link. By directly connecting Nigeria to key West African economies, we’re laying the groundwork for an integrated continental supply chain,” added Josiah Edmond.

Next Corridors Under Development

With Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire live, POSTKODES is actively developing additional corridors into Ghana, Kenya, and Cameroon, building a scalable model for regional logistics infrastructure powered by data and technology for large, small and medium businesses.
